Kick-Off for research project GENUS
Climate change influences upwelling area off Namibian coast 26 March 2009:

More than twenty marine researchers met on Wednesday at the KlimaCampus of the University of Hamburg for the official start of the project ā€˛Geochemistry and Ecology of the Namibian Upwelling System (GENUS)". For a period of three years German scientists will work together with their colleagues from Namibia and South Africa in the upwelling area off the southwest African coast to investigate effects of climate change in this region. more
