GENUS Retreat at Hiddensee
November 2014:
From Nov. 25 to Nov. 28 almost all GENUS subprojects together with Namibian partners met on the island of Hiddensee. This meeting was well organised by the IOW in order to foster the interdisciplinary work of all subprojects. In addition, one main purpose was to identify and to prepare new research findings to be published by the end of project phase 2. All participants enjoyed working together and considered this gathering as an important step for the final phase of the GENUS project.
